Welcome

Welcome to Amahle Rhodesian Ridgebacks, our names our Brian & Mandy Maidment and we live in West Sussex which allows us to not only enjoy the wonderful coast itself but also the countryside which surrounds the local area. We live at home with our three children Thomas, Ben & Georgia. Our lives have been enriched by our Rhodesian Ridgebacks Kamie, Rufus, Lola & Kokomo.

Kamie, being our first Rhodesian Ridgeback, joined us from Edinburgh in 2004, we first initially were looking for a pet, however as time passed our interest in showing grew stronger and thats when we decided to try our hand in the show ring, not alot of time passed until we had caught the "bug" of showing. Rufus then joined our pack in 2006, he came from Herefordshire and very quickly became a part of the family. In 2007, Kamie had her first litter of puppies, a very new and exciting experience for us all!

Lola, a puppy from Kamie's first litter was the youngest of the pack until 26th April 2009 when we had Kokomo join us. Our dogs are first and foremost our pets, they all share our home and our life. They do enjoy showing and feel at home doing their job in the showring. We are members of the Great Britain Rhodesian Ridgeback Club and the Southern Rhodesian Ridgeback Association.
